I was wondering if anyone could help me with a question that was posed by non chess players? Is the only was to win a game of Chess is by checkmate or is there another way of winning? Lindy |

Your opponent can resign and by doing so give you the win. If you are playing with a time limit than obviously you can win when your opponent’s time has run out. |
